| The Breath of Light Chakra Breathing and Visualization for Accelerated Healing Margaret Gilfoyle Published in the Healing Path Magazine for Body, Mind and Spirit March/April 2005 issue I would like to share with you a method of healing which has changed my life and the lives of many people. I received guidance on the form of this healing process from Beings of Light whom have been working with me for several years. Everything I do now with this healing method is directly from the guidance of these wonderful Beings. The “Breath of Light” is what I was guided to call the modality. I received messages while giving shamanic Reiki sessions for the client to breathe in through different chakras, visualizing the same streams of white light I could see flowing into these chakras; then to exhale their breath into different areas of their body, or out through the chakra(s). As I communicated these messages to the client and they did the breathing patterns, the areas showed accelerated progress, often huge release, often reversing conditions which had been held in the body. The spring of 2005 I went through a series of three huge, humbling shifts within my own body. I was virtually bedridden, simultaneously feeling like a new born baby and an incredibly huge, open, super-sensory being. I felt on the verge of death during all three instances. A sense of weakness was pervasive—I was more in the spiritual world than this one. I experienced a diminished sense of hunger, followed by cravings for light, high energy superfoods. The most prominent constant experience was my energetic sensitivity. I felt oneness with all beings to an extreme degree, and affirm with great certainty that when one person is hurt, ALL feel it on an oh-so-real level. We truly are all connected. My heart chakra was especially huge. It had shifted lower and had grown. I was receiving guidance to go outside in the morning air and breathe through it. This Breath of Light pattern, as I stood above Horsetooth Reservoir on a cliff one early, deliciously cool summer morning, breathing through my heart, was an exquisite feeling I will never forget. The water and mountains were so giving to me energetically. I felt I could begin to float. I saw my chakras expanding out three feet in front of me, and light blue Beings were all around me, short in stature with a red flame at their hearts. These were the Beings of Light who wished for me to begin working on people with the Breath of Light. This work was my next path. The Breath of Light can work for anyone, and you may tremendously benefit from it, as a precious 11 year old girl named Macie did. Macie was born with hypoplasia of the optic nerve, which takes information to the brain, causing her eyes to move uncontrollably back and forth. After two surgeries, doctors had given her parents the prognosis that nothing could be done. Her mother Rochelle’s reply was that she had faith, and Macie would one day see. Though her physical sight had it’s difficult challenges, her spiritual sight was strong and advanced. She could see angels, fairies and energy fields around people. Her first Breath of Light session was nothing short of spell-binding. The Beings of Light guided me to ask Macie to breathe a beautiful, bright green beam of light into her crown chakra and bring it down through the head. As she did this, I could see that the green light, when it came to just above the bridge of her nose, flowed out in all directions. The message to her was to focus the green light into a very thin tunnel of light, to bring the energy inward which was flowing outward. As she inhaled, visualizing this, I could soon see a brilliant green line of energy flowing through her skull. I was guided to gently touch three spots on her forehead, forming a triangle. This triangle filled with the green light and she was to intently focus the breath moving in and out of the triangle. I was to touch the inner corners of her eyes. Within minutes the session was complete. She lay on my table with her eyes closed, smiling. Rochelle called to Macie. She sat up and turned to look at her mom whom began crying with joy. She steadily gazed into her mom’s eyes—for the first time in her life! And as the realization set in that her vision had also improved the room filled with overwhelming happiness. I got a call soon after they had left telling me Macie was excitedly reading the billboards and street signs all the way home! Thank you, God! |
