rising view from a window of the soul

Posted in Translations From the Sky at 8:57 AM by Margaret Gilfoyle

as steam rises from Tommy’s garden,

        melted snow droplets shake

from the white cups of pear blossoms,

and new willow leaves drift in a series of waves        lifting

the stagnation of winter, the illusion of sleep

        from a thousand incarnated souls.

the door on the top of my head

 Threshold Hopi Soul Song

(Kopavi  “the door on top of the head”

Tunatyava  “comes true, being hoped for”)

dear Great Spirit, your gifts

to me are so many,

when I look at them and think of them

they multiply

and expand farther and farther afield

until my gifts from you encompass the sky

and everything underneath it

thank you

my hands are open to the sky

I pray that the door on the top of my head

is always inviting to you,

so you will walk inside me, and join me

at the hearth of my heart,

at the seat of my self,

in the cradle of my womb,

at the base of my body where I join the Earth

when I speak it will be you speaking through me,

when I think I will listen to your thoughts

when I breathe the breath is a prayer

of enfolding you into each of my cells, my blood,

and my life becomes the dance

for which you have intended me

Traveling through your body ~ as a facilitator in the field of holistic, spiritually and scientifically based energy medicine, I witness what has historically been perceived as two worlds – the “spiritual”, the “scientific” merge into an incredible, graceful complex design.

Join me on this journey through you, through how I perceive healing, and the universe we live in.
Thank you for your company.

Highest Light and Love,

Margaret Gilfoyle
