Bless the almonds for this divine little recipe used in Grand Marnier Stuffed
French Toast and Raspberry Surprise Muffins, Chapter Four, Within.
1 c. almonds: try blanched almonds for a pale paste, toasted for a nutty brown
color 1 tsp. almond extract
4 tbsp. maple syrup or honey
Combine in food processor until a smooth paste is formed. Add a drop or two of
water if needed for a thinner consistency.
